Ahmet CANLI

Mr. CANLI administered more than thirty investigations of Trade Defense Instruments (Anti-Dumping, Anti-Subsidy, Safeguards Measures) initiated against Turkish exports. Coordinated Turkey’s responses to questions regarding the subsidies given by Turkey. Served as a senior manager, career diplomat in government, and business development consultant in the private sector for 25+ years. Ahmet CANLI serve as head of department at Ministry of Trade, Turkiye and Directed three departments and supervised over sixty Foreign Trade Experts at the Departments of “Market Access and International Relations”, “International Business Intelligence”, and the “SMEs and Clustering Support”. Coordinated the Ministry’s institutional relations with international financial organizations (WTO, OECD, IMF, and World Bank). Established strategic partnerships among umbrella organizations (private sectors, international organizations, academia, and government) to encourage them to initiate clusters in specific industries and organize market access activities, utilizing the European Union’s financial instruments and the Ministry’s budget.
